In the Badlands, stretching from southern Alberta in Canada to Utah, fossil remains of dinosaurs have on rare occasion been replaced by gem silica (agate).

The gem dinosaur bone used in our fine jewellery and accessories has been cut from partial remains of large Upper Cretaceous age dinosaurs (75 million years ago).

The most colorful gem bone is from an area near Moab, Utah.  The original cell structure of the bone has been preserved and filled in with multi-colored agate.

The popularity of dinosaurs has never been more in the public eye than it is at the present time.
