This exciting new gem is a 400 million year old gem fossil coral found in an ancient coral reef on a remote island in Southeast Alaska.
The name “Stingray Coral” was chosen for it’s close resemblance to the skin of stingray used as an exotic leather for the use on the hilts of Samurai swords.
The contrasting display of pattern and color is unique in the gem world.
Set in a full range of classic jewellery and accessories, this black and white gemstone is ideal for both a distinctive formal or casual look.
