BUSINESS ORIGINS

Placer Gold Design’s expertise began on the banks of the Fraser River 45 years ago. An early decision was made to add value to placer gold recovered in the form of fine jewellery manufacture. By 1977 a formal business was established in downtown Vancouver. A sharp eye for fine gem grade material and a close working relationship with gold miners and prospectors world-wide led to the creation of our fine line of jewellery and accessories. After many years of supplying retail and tourism accounts globally our client base is now focused on the worlds mining exploration and support industries, currently experiencing the greatest resource & gold rush in history.

MISSION STATEMENT

Placer Gold Design’s professional mandate is to “secure the colour” and present it in it’s most desirable form.

FUTURE PLANS

Placer Gold Design is in the early stages of a legacy project to provide public access to our gold rush heritage. Having purchased the original Barnards “BX” Express property in Yale, BC, we plan to eventually recreate the historical gateway to the Cariboo Gold Fields and Barkerville as a public venue where people experience British Columbia’s Fraser River gold rush history. We will actively encourage the public to exercise their right to prospect gold in BC.
